Whatever that means

He’s not difficult to persuade to go for a wee cycle but the end of the school week probably isn’t the best time to ask him to do 7.5 miles to his Tae Kwon Do and the same back again so rather than push it, I went for the slightly silly option of having Mandy drive us there with the bikes on the car and then the two of us rode back.

He’s slow but the wee speedo on his bars helps to speed him up and encouraging him to chase down other cyclists helps too. A bit. I think we only averaged about 8 miles an hour and most of that was downhill.

Still, it’s a start and he’ll get bolder and faster as he gets more practice. And maybe a little more meat on those little stick legs of his.
