Whatever that means
Another day in the brew shed, bottling and making space so that I could deal with the mound of apples that’s been sitting in the garden all week. So, 36 bottles of 80/-, which has turned out a wee bit stronger than a traditional 80/- would be, and 52 litres of apple juice. I think I’ve maybe got through two thirds of the apples so about 40kg still to process.
It doesn’t feel at all like Ellen’s birthday. She got us up at 8, opened her presents and then played with her new Furby until it was time to go to the first of her two parties. Not her parties – other kids’. So she’s been out all day. I can honestly say that I hate the fuckin’ Furby already. It may have an “accident” soon.”
